We’ve all heard that patience is a virtue, and it’s also really nice when good things happen fast: that goes double for your finances and investments. You’ve already increased your net worth when the appraised value of the property is more than the acquisition value. Think of it as a kind of safety net.

Real estate is one of the only markets where instant equity is even possible. It is one of the few markets where the price of an investment is negotiable.
